Lots of people have asked me throughout my first year of Pheasant why I live in London yet run a company selling things made in Yorkshire. When I was about 7 years old my sister and I had friends who had moved from near us in Kent up to Ripon in North Yorkshire so we went to visit them - and that is where it all began. That was 20 years ago and I have holidayed up there with my family every year since. I'd previously worked part-time in retail and am still working as an interiors stylist, so I wanted to combine the two and sell lovely English-made things - and I knew where to find them. Now I get to share with you all of these amazing things that real people make in Yorkshire, England.
